Our passionate staff members are committed to providing the highest quality instruction and guidance to students of all ages and skill levels. With their wealth of knowledge and expertise in various dance styles, our instructors bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a love for dance to every class.

Shauna Bzdel has been involved in the studio for all of it’s 35 years and is proud to be the Director/ Owner. She started at Dance Images first as a student and now as a teacher for 35 years. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Acro & Lyrical . She is now the Director of the studio and runs the Ballet Program at the studio. Shauna is also responsible for the Managerial Roles at the Studio.
Shauna continues her own dance education yearly and attends Professional Development training and Summer Ballet Intensive workshops regularly. Shauna also holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and has extensive experience working with special needs children.

Barb Jackman has been involved in dance all of her life has been teaching dancing for over 38 years. Before opening Dance Images by BJ, she taught and directed Silver Stars Dance Club at 15 wing Moose Jaw for several years. Barb is the Founder of Dance Images. She is a mentor at the studio as well as a mentor in the Tap and Jazz Exam Programs. She is also sharing some of the Social Media roles of the studio.
Barb is a graduate from the ADAPT – 3 year, Teachers Training Program (TTS) in Tap & Jazz as well as works with the ADAPT program as an Tap & Jazz Examiner. She is a Member Teacher in CDTA Sask Branch Stage Division in Tap & Jazz as well as holds an executive position as Past President. Barb continues to study dance throughout the Province, Canada and the US in such cities as New York, Boston, Calgary, Toronto, Winnipeg, Salt Lake City, Kansas and Los Angela’s. She teaches workshops throughout the province and has adjudicated several dance competitions. Barb examines for ADAPT throughout Canada as well as teaches and attends classes at the ADAPT -Teachers Training School held in Toronto each year. She is the co-director of “The Invitational Dance Carnival” held in Moose Jaw.
Barb feels that “One Never Stops Learning” and is committed to provide the best possible dance training and motivation to all of her students and staff.

Tessa is graduate dancer from Dance Images and has been involved in the studio first as a student and now as part of the DI Teaching Team. She has trained extensively in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern, Contemporary and Lyrical. She has completed all her Adapt Tap & Jazz Exam levels as well as her CDTA Ballet Levels. Tessa is also a graduate of The Canadian College of Performing Arts – Victoria BC . She also helps with some of the Administrative work at the studio as well.
Tessa is a Graduate of the ADAPT – Teachers Training Course – Tap & Jazz. Tessa continues her own Dance Education yearly and is also involved in our Summer Programs as well as our community outreach program. Tessa is also a graduate of The Canadian College of Performing Arts – Victoria BC . It is wonderful having Tessa part of our teaching team and taking on a bigger role in the Tap and Jazz Exam program and assisting with some Administration moving forward!

Natasha has been involved in dance her entire life. Growing up and training in Moose Jaw and Regina, she has performed Professionally on Carnival Cruise Lines and has taught dance in Regina. She is also a Clinical Caseworker at Ranch Ehrlo Society.
Natasha is a big part of our Teaching Team working with our Intermediate and Senior Dancers. We are excited to have Natasha with all her dance experience be a part of Dance Images.
Nichole has trained at Dance Images for most of her dance journey. She trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern, Contemporary and Lyrical. Nichole has completed all her ADAPT Jazz, ADAPT Tap and CDTA Ballet Exams.
Nichole is a graduate and certified ADAPT Teacher in Tap and Jazz.
She is also a Certified Acrobatic Arts Teacher and also has her Junior Certification in Acro Dance Teachers Association. Nichole continues her own Dance Education yearly and is also involved in our Summer Programs. Nichole is a wonderful asset to the DI teaching team.
Morgan trained at Dance Images as a student and is a graduate alumni from the studio. She trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern, Contemporary and Lyrical. Morgan has completed all her ADAPT Jazz, ADAPT Tap and CDTA Ballet Exams.
After graduating from the studio, Morgan moved to LA and spent several years there dancing Professionally before deciding to move back to Moose Jaw.
Morgan is a well- rounded dance teacher who loves to specialize in Hip Hop. Morgan is a wonderful asset to the DI teaching team and we are happy to have her back at Dance Images.
Chantal Leaman (B.Ed) will be heading up our Kidventure Korner Fine Arts PreSchool program and comes to us with many years of experience both Academically and in the Arts.
Chantal trained as a dancer at Dance Images in all disciplines and is a Certified Adapt Teacher – Tap/Jazz. She earned an education degree specializing in Early Childhood Development and she brings many years of experience from her teaching in the Public School System.
Chantal is very excited to combine her love of the arts with Early Childhood Education in our Kidventure Korner Pre-school Program! She will guide our students to create and explore as she works with them to build a successful academic foundation for Kindergarten Readiness.
Shelley has been involved at Dance Images for many years with all 3 of her daughters dancing at the studio. She has been an amazing asset to the studio as our Office Manager for many years and helps to keep things running smoothly.
Shelley’s knowledge and organization in the office is appreciated by everyone and supported with her kind and friendly nature. She is such an amazing part of our Administrative Team!
Dance Images is proud to provide our dancers with many outside outreach instructors for extra training. These opportunities help to enrich and educate our dancers. These are just a few Teachers that have worked with our dancers along with the amazing Faculty of Teachers we bring in each year at our Summer Intensive.
